The inaugural Sean Pee All-Stars Football Tournament kicked off at CMS Primary School in Bariga, Lagos. This two day event features retired footballers returning to the field to rekindle their passion for the game. Sponsored by Hon. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation and a dedicated football fan, the tournament aims to blend competitive spirit with entertainment and community engagement.
Eight teams are vying for the ₦1 million grand prize. Group A includes Bariga Allstars, Oworo Allstars, Akoka Allstars, and Fadeyi Allstars, while Group B features Obanikoro Allstars, Yabatech Allstars, Love Garden Allstars, and 68 Allstars. The matches promise to deliver memorable moments as participants relive their playing days.
Event coordinator Engr. Waidi Akanni described the tournament as a celebration of football, complemented by music, food, and an electric atmosphere to create a unique experience for fans and players alike.
